Dr. Ran Nivy Lecture 1: From Incidentally Found Increased Liver Enzyme Activities to Acute Hepatitis: A Case-Based Introduction to Liver Disease Diagnosis

This lecture introduces hepatobiliary diseases in dogs and cats, by focusing on available laboratory and imaging tools, discussing their diagnostic utility and providing clinical context for interpretation thereof. We will then begin our overview of hepatobiliary diseases, in a case-based fashion, by reviewing infectious etiologies of hepatitis and the various causes of acute liver injury.
